Freelance IT Consultant/Professional handling various projects with private and government clients involving Information Systems Strategic Planning, Project Management, Website/Portal Development, Application/Information Systems Development, Government Procurement (RA 9184) of ICT Resources; IT/ICT Curriculum Development, Thesis Faculty Adviser, Resource Person/Lecturer; Workshop Facilitator; IT/ICT Consulting; IT/IS Audit; and Terms of Reference Development for ICT Projects.

Earned her Master in Technology Management degree at the University of the Philippines (Diliman) and Bachelor of Science in Mathematics degree at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila as a government scholar. 

In 1980, started her IT career at the then National Computer Center (now Department of Information and Communications Technology) as Research Analyst/Jr. Project Analyst. Moved to the private sector in 1985 to join the Collage Assurance Plan, (CAP) Inc. as a Programmer/Analyst. Rose from the ranks promoted to Assistant Vice President position in the Management Information System Operations of CAP and CAPHealth. After 12 years, rejoined the NCC as Information Systems Analyst III in 1997 and served the Center in various capacities and handled mission-critical projects of the agency.

Transferred to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as Division Head in the MIS Division on September 2012. While in SEC promoted as Assistant Director in the Information and Communications Technology Department (ICTD). Concurrently designated as OIC-Director of ICTD prior to her optional retirement in the government service on February 2019. For almost 7 years, led the SEC’s digital transformation journey in automating a number of missioncritical systems and internal systems, as well for the efficient delivery of services to the public and other clients. 

Attended local and foreign trainings and seminars, and represented the Philippines in foreign conferences and fora in the field of information and communications technology.

On May 2007, chosen as the Philippine Information Technology Ambassador (ITA) to the Digital Opportunity Forum (DOF) organized by Korea Agency for Digital Opportunity and Promotion (KADO). On September 2015 the Career Executive Service Board conferred her Career Executive Service (CES) Eligibility.
